How to Clean Furniture Pads without Spreading the Dirt

Dirt on furniture pads sometimes stuck in between that a vacuum cleaner isn’t strong enough to suck. Trying to pick up the dirt with your hand is not convenient and the dirt may just spread around creating more mess. Here is a quick tip on how you can easily pick them up.

If you are like me, you will just need to protect all of your furniture legs from damaging the floor by sticking one of those protector pads to every one of them. It does help prevent scratch on the floor, but other problem rises: they easily trap dirt and hair from the floor!

Dirty furniture pad 🙁

It is especially true for chairs, since we move them often. However, even heavier furnitures such as sofa or table can also still collect dust under their ‘feet’.

Use Sticky Roller or Adhesive Tape

Use sticky roller to help pick up the dirt and hair off of the furniture pads easily without making a mess. Alternatively, you can also use adhesive tape such as masking tape to pick up the dirt instead. Just make sure that the adhesive is not too strong or it will damage the pads or leave sticky residue.

The pad is clean after few rolls 🙂

I like using sticky roller because I can conveniently roll it and dispose the dirt afterwards.
