Hello, I’m Amiko.
I live in a 92sqm HDB flat in Singapore with my husband, our young son, and our very nosy poodle.
I started this blog back in 2017, when we first moved in, as a way to capture our homemaking journey. Over time, I’ve come to genuinely enjoy the challenge (and surprisingly, the fun) of making our small home work.
When space is limited and stuff constantly moves around, organising a smaller home can sometimes feel like playing a game of Tetris on repeat. But that’s part of what makes it rewarding and meaningful. It encourages us to be intentional, to keep only what matters, and to let go of what doesn’t.
Clutter always find a corner to settle.
Having grown up in a three-storey house and now living in a much smaller space, taught me one thing: a larger home isn’t necessarily the solution to keeping things tidy. Without thoughtful curation, things always fill the space.
I’ve learned that a home doesn’t need to be big to feel right. It just needs to be set up in a way that makes daily life run smoothly, so you can focus on your priorities and feel good being in it.
When you’re clear on what and what not to keep, how and where to keep it, you can live fully no matter the size.
